Staff was amazing and the design of the rooms as well!

The property is very peaceful and well maintained. They have a nice pool and a delicious restaurant! The breakfast is amazing, you can choose between many options every morning. We would like to thank Maica for the warm welcome, she made our stay unforgettable! She was always available and her service is worth 5 stars!! ⭐️

Even if the resort was amazing, the price is to high. For this price we expect a better shower (no pressure), wifi in the room and maybe a free shuttle to the city. Something that could also be added is a good coffee machine :)

Wonderful

Food was amazing for Philippines we spent christmas there diner and service was excellent . all the staff and animals are super lovely decoration and atmosphère Maica is absolutely fantastic and super professional they changed me in an available room late as sofa bed was not confortable to sleep

The king size bed room is not super quiet as it s close to the main road and the room is really expensive as the sofa bed is absolutely not confortable otherwise all is great . just go

Small hotel with loads of charm

Very nice property a bit out of the hustle of town with a nice pool. Best of all however is the staff with Maica being an absolute superstar! Best hospitality person in the Philippines!

I 100% recommend this hotel

A warm welcome, special mention for Maica who immediately put us at ease and who took care of us throughout the stay! Spacious rooms, far from the noisy center of El Nido 10 minutes by scooter, super good food and a calming setting! I am really delighted to have stayed in this hotel!

Recommendable.

We loved the solitude of the place to end our El Nido trip. Rain was forecasted during the last day of our stay in El Nido so we decided to book a resort where we can just relax and enjoy it’s amenities. We were allowed an early check-in which was great. We had the pool to ourselves, pool looked clean aside from a few leaves. Our room was very comfortably styled. Myka and her team were very accomodating to our requests. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Myka also helped organise our transport to Puerto Princesa the next day.

The shower could improve more, there was definitely too little water coming out of the shower head.

Wonderful relaxing stay in El Nido

We loved the fact it was such a relaxing place to be. The pool is great, we ended up swimming in it every day. The rooms are really spacious and the aircon is exactly what we needed in 30° heat! The staff were so helpful and lovely, especially Marie who helped us organise tricycles and our diving/boat trips. We didn’t have change for our tricycle once and one of the staff members got on his motorbike to go and change our money for us- so kind! Thank you, we wish we could stay longer!

The only things were that there were quite a few ants in the bathroom & the shower could be more powerful. Also the property is a good 20 minute tricycle ride from the centre (about 10 minutes on a motorbike) but is close to Marmegmeg beach/Vanilla Beach.

Great staff, lovely location and charming stay

A very big thank you to JL, Marie, the amazing chefs and team. We had a great time staying at La Colonial! The resort is clean, well maintained and in a beautiful, tropical setting. The staff put every effort to make our stay a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. It’s better than the pictures! Highly recommended.

The staff was really great and very helpful Nice rooms and pool/dining area Very quiet but only 10 minutes drive with a scooter from the hustle in town The room was really big and nicely decorated. We got a nice treat every night and free water to drink.

The breakfast was good but 'a la carte' so there wasn't so much to choose from

Perfect jungle resort

La Colonial resort is one of the best resorts that me and my partner were, and we travel a lot all around the world. The resort is very beautiful and it really gives you the warm filing living in the house mostly decorated with wood. Everything is so clean and the terace is just magnificent to relax, hang up with other guests or just lay there reading your favorite book. Despite their farnese from the center of El Nido(that is about 5km), they give you the opportunity of renting the motorcycle for all day and for a very nice price, so you are able to go on any beach you want. The staff is the nicest. They are always smiling and surrounding you with positive energy. Their good will and cidnes made us speechless. They realy try to make you feel special and provide you everything you wish for. If you not in the mood of going to the beach, you can just relax by the pool while drinking your favorite cocktail. The food is mostly local and it delicious, especially the colonial specialties. Every day they leave you a note wishing you a good day with homemade desserts, that made a big impression on as. So, if you are looking for one relaxing and breathtaking place just choose La Colonial resort, you won't be sorry:) Maja and Luka

Wonderful

Everything, but specially the staff. Sooo nice! The hotel was beautifully decorated and it is a perfect place to rest.

We liked everything in this fabulous decorated spot. The only thing that they should have: wifi. It is a peaceful hotel, away from the crowds. So the wifi would make it perfect to rest, chill at the pool. But you can read a book or four travel guide. Not to close of El Nido proper, but for was wasn't a negative aspect. A trycicle takes you to the town in 7 minutes and 200/300 PHP.

Wonderful

I loved the most their staff! Lhen was so helpful and treated us amazingly! The hotel it is the cutest, super clean and quiet. It is a bit far from el Nido town (you have to take a tricycle to get their, it’s about 7 minutes away), but actually makes their location even better if you are looking forward to relax in a very nice and quiet place. We totally recommend!

AMAZING PLACE!

This place is just amazing. We had a wonderful time there and everything went perfect: the room was big and extremely clean, with a beautiful patio. Amazing swimming pool and great breakfast, only 20-25 minutes ride of tricycle away from the city center and 10 minutes away from Vanilla Beach. Everything was beyond expectations but the thinkg that made our staying unforgettable are the people that manage the hotel. We thank you again for your kindness, availability and for your wonderful 'treatment' - we felt like home and we look forward to visiting you again. Elena & Andrea
